The Deontological-Disciplinary Commission is composed of a Chairman and four members appointed by the Governing Council. The commission shall take action following notification by the President and the Governing Council or other members of training and/or research initiatives, and clinical activities deemed not to comply with the principles and purposes of SIDBT ETS as set out in the Staff Regulations, promoting an investigation into them. It also assesses reports of statements or behaviour by potentially damaging members of the Company’s image, reporting its conclusions to the Board and the President.

During the investigation will be acquired the documents related to the report and will be heard the partner or members involved, releasing at the end a report addressed to the President and the Board of Directors, who will assume the determinations of the case.

The commission provides opinions on disputes concerning the interpretation of the Statute of the Italian Society for the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
