The SIDBT ETS clinical centre network is present in several Italian regions and represents a qualified reference for the application of the Dialytic Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Founded in 2011, SIDBT ETS has as its mission the spread of Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in Italy, through a rigorous training based on scientific evidence.
Our aim is to train clinicians able to apply the treatment in a faithful way to the original model, adapting it effectively to the different working contexts and needs of patients.
Dialeptic-Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a psychotherapeutic treatment evidence-based developed by Marsha M. Linehan in the 1980s, initially designed to treat Borderline Disorder of Personality . Today, DBT is also widely used to address wider and different problems, shared by emotional disregulation, and caters to many patients, including adults, adolescents, patients in double diagnosis, with eating disorders.
The SIDBT ETS clinical centre network is present in several Italian regions and represents a qualified reference for the application of Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Each centre is made up of professionals who have completed all phases of the SIDBT ETS training path, ensuring a treatment that adheres to the original model and based on scientific evidence.
Centres operate both in the public and private sectors and differ for treated clinical populations (adults, adolescents, families, specific disorders). In the dedicated section you can consult the full list, divided by region, with the characteristics of each centre.
SIDBT ETS organizes comprehensive training courses for professionals who wish to specialize in Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy. The courses follow the official guidelines of the DBT model, in collaboration with Behavioral Tech (BTECH), the body founded by Marsha Linehan.
Becoming a SIDBT ETS member means joining a clinical community experienced in DBT, with access to continuous training, supervision, free thematic seminars and confidential content.
