The Scientific Committee has the function of promoting, developing and verifying the scientific activity of SIDBTETS.

The objectives of the Scientific Committee are:

• Promote knowledge of DBT research data among members through initiatives that guarantee continuing training.
• Develop research activities on DBT, promoting collaboration between members and organising initiatives to disseminate their results. For the pursuit of this objective, the Scientific Committee can use the involvement of public and private institutions, national and international, and can take initiatives to seek funding.
• To verify the effectiveness of the activities mentioned above through appropriate initiatives.

In addition to the activities aimed at Members, the Scientific Committee has the task of spreading the scientific activities of the Society nationally and internationally.

The Scientific Committee is composed of seven members, Italian and foreign, of proven competence, and is coordinated by/by the President.
