"Follow the middle path: module of Skills Training groups in the DBT-A"

The seminar is aimed at all members – associates and ordinary members – who have completed the Intensive Training or who have attended at least the first part

The aim of the seminar is to illustrate the principles, strategies and techniques that guide the clinician in working with adolescents and their family members in the module on Walking the middle path

In particular, the seminar will present:

  1. How to introduce and explain dialectics
  2. The dialectical dilemmas between teenagers and parents
  3. The principles of Validation
  4. How to change ineffective behaviour

Requires the DBT Manual for adolescents

It foresees an alternation between frontal teaching modes, role playing and group exercises.
