FOR PROFESSIONALISTS ABILITATED TO THE EXERCISE OF PSICOTERAPIA ACCORDING TO THE LEGISLATION OF THE ITALIAN STATE, CATEGORIES ARE:

RELATED SOCIETY

Access requirements: at least 16 hours of DBT theoretical training with teachers recognised by the SIDBT and with similar or equivalent content to the format of the SIDBT-ETS DBT introductory workshop.

Affiliates are considered members in training and not yet qualified to use the DBT processing model.

Applications must be submitted to SIDBT on the appropriate form which can be completed at the following link: https://www.sidbt.it/become-socio/ . Admissions are decided by the Board of Directors by an absolute majority. The acceptance or refusal of the application will be communicated in writing to the email address indicated on the form by the member.

Duration of member status: 3 years, with extension of 2 additional by request to the Steering Committee

ASSOCIATED SOCIETY

Access requirements: frequency of DBT Intensive Training recognized by the Company. Be part of a DBT team recognized by the Company and carry out active and continuous clinical work with patients in the different ways provided by the DBT treatment

Maintenance requirements:

1. Active clinical work in a DBT team
2. At least one team supervision, with a two-year periodicity
   or
   at least one training event organised by the Company, with an annual frequency

Duration of the condition of Associate Member: years 3.
A two-year extension is foreseen after approval by the Governing Council. At the end of the 3 years the member enters the category of Ordinary Member. If at the end of the 3 years the Member who has not fulfilled the maintenance requirements returns to the condition of Affiliate Partner.

   At least one training event organized by the Society per year

Ordinary mentor members

Access requirements: holding the status of ordinary partner combined with approval type of mentor member by the Board of Directors by an absolute majority. Maintenance requirements for mentors:

1. At least an individual supervision with supervisors of the Company, at annual intervals
   or
   Teaching in at least one educational event organized by the Society per year

Access requirements: possesso dello status di socio ordinario unito ad approvazione tipologia di socio trainer in formazione, trainer o supervisore, secondo i criteri riportati sul sito https://www.sidbt.it/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Development-Model-_EN_r.pdf

Requisiti di mantenimento per ordinari didatti:

1. Docenza in almeno un evento formativo organizzato dalla Società all’anno

 Valgono tutte le condizioni soprariportate per i professionisti abilitati all’esercizio della psicoterapia, salvo l’accesso al lavoro di team con il ruolo di terapeuta individuale e l’accesso alle tipologie di ordinario mentore e didatta.
